Share Holiday Joy

Share the joy of the holiday season with a child or teen living in poverty.

We are partnering with 4 organizations this season - the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, Theodore D. Young Community Center in Greenburgh, Port Chester Community Gardens and FSW's Quality in Action program.

We are asking volunteers to purchase a gift for a specific child valued between $25 - $30. For teens, please consider buying a gift card to Target, Kohl's or a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express gift card. We are discouraging Amazon gift cards as most families we serve cannot use Amazon, do not have Amazon Prime, and do not have a credit card.

Please drop your gift to The Sharing Shelf, 47 Purdy Avenue, Port Chester, NY, 10573. If you prefer to ship, you can order your gift directly online and have it shipped to The Sharing Shelf.

If you are looking for a larger project for a family or business group, consider our Advent Giving Box and fill a box with 24 essentials for a child or teen.

Instructions for Drop-Off:

• Please label your unwrapped gift with the child's name, age and the code next to their name from the sign-up.

• Do not wrap your gift (we welcome donations of gift bags and tissue paper)

• Feel free to write a note or card
